Very cool stop-motion sequence for the upcoming indie craft documentary, Handmade Nation, that I keep hyping up. Tonight was the premiere in Milwaukee and on February 12th at 6:30, it premieres in NYC at the Museum of Arts and Design.
So, I'm sitting here going through twitter tonight when I see an intriguing tweet posted by Typophile which simply reads: "Blippo bold? Why America is graphically eff'd. (Caution strong language.)" So, I click on the video and I was simply wowed, mainly because of my own recent frustrations built around this topic.
Ok, so, this is Aaron Draplin, of Draplin Design Co. and this is a small clip from a new mini-documentary that he and Jess Gibson are working on together. I can't wait to see the entire finished piece. Enjoy.

And yet, another one I'd like to see. Herb and Dorothy is a documentary film which tells the extraordinary story of Herb, a postal clerk, and Dorothy, a librarian - an ordinary couple of modest means who managed to build one of the most important contemporary art collections in history.
Died Young, Stayed Pretty is yet another documentary I can't wait to see. It's all about silkscreen poster artists and the community around them. Some of my favorite artists are featured – Art Chantry, Print Mafia, Andrew Bird, Seripop, Methane Studios, Jay Ryan and on, and on!
I'm REALLY excited to see this!
